The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that He would send forth labourers into his harvest.
Luke 10:2
Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's,
But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.

For years the primary missions of New Horizons has been to provide care for infants and young children of incarcerated mothers. However, our focus now is actually three pronged as noted in our new mission statement: "To provide Christ - centered nurture for children and families in need, share the love of Christ to incarcerated youth and adults, and provide programs and experiences for our staff members that foster spiritual growth." Trainees will assist with child care (ladies), serve in our thrift stores, and work on maintenance projects (men). They will live with our VS staff, engage in worship and other spiritual - growth - promoting activities, and have the opportunity to participate in recreational activities and chapel programs at a youth prison - $1,050.00
